Well, that didn’t last long.

A week off of social media is basically a month in scrolling time… šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

I will say that it was nice to see people I usually only talk to over Facebook or Instagram shooting me a text or even call just to say hello/& see how I’m doing. I’ve learned a lot about who wants to be a part of my life, and who just wants to take up space. You’re either in or you’re out, I’m out of patience for anything less.

I feel more rooted to the world, less like a floating particle in the wind. I also have been able to focus more on my writing, and I can’t wait to post new work soon.

The image below is something I took on my way to Girdwood last weekend. It came out blurry like this and it made me think of life in motion and what an art it truly is to be alive. In many ways, we are all just oil on canvas, merging and blending until we make something out of the moment. Or, we fade into the edges, hanging on idly. Which would you rather be?

Ps: I am so happy you are here.
